About me

My name is Jelena, and I’m a designer who enjoys solving problems through thoughtful and meaningful digital experiences.

My approach to design

What first drew me to UX/UI design was the connection between psychology, critical thinking, creativity, and technology. I’ve always been someone who naturally looks for solutions, pays attention to details, and tries to understand how people think and interact with the world around them. For me, design is not only about creating something visually appealing, but about creating experiences that feel intuitive, useful, and purposeful.

My background in marketing, brand management, project management, web design, and development has shaped the way I approach design today. I graduated from the Faculty of Economics with a focus on Marketing and also completed a Master’s degree in Project Management. After working as a Brand Manager in a fashion corporation, I transitioned into the digital field by completing a web design course and working as a Web Designer and Web Developer on websites and applications. I also gained experience working within the educational system, where I was responsible for designing and developing websites from scratch, as well as working in a marketing agency on a variety of projects, especially for fashion brands and e-commerce businesses. Those experiences helped me better understand different industries, user behaviors, and business goals, while also shaping the types of digital products and brands I feel most inspired to continue working with in the future.

Why I chose UX/UI design

What excites me most about UX/UI is the opportunity to combine strategy, empathy, research, and visual design into one process. I’m especially drawn to clean, modern, and minimal digital experiences that feel simple, intentional, and easy to use. I enjoy thinking through user flows, identifying pain points, and finding ways to make interactions feel more natural and effortless. As I continue growing as a designer, I want to create digital products and experiences that are both visually refined and genuinely helpful for the people using them.

Let’s work on something great together!
